About Us

PGA Professional, Ed Paine, a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley started Golfer's Edge out of his garage in 1985. Ed has been a member of the Professional Golfers Association since 1991. Over the years, he has custom fit and built over 500 sets of new clubs, repaired hundreds of broken shafts, changed over 10,000 worn out grips, and taught thousands of lessons. His teaching and club repair experience are unparalleled in our community.
With the encouragement and backing of wife and partner,Tonnea, the two opened a storefront at 218 Mission St, in May of 2008. The store front was closed and starting in June of 2018 the Golfer’s Edge became affiliated with the Highlander Golf Course.
There Ed will continue to teach this great game. The Wenatchee Valley and North Central Washington will have two options for their club repair and custom club needs. They can take it either to the Highlander or call the Golfer’s Edge
